'''பெலிலென''' (''Belilena'') என்பது [[இலங்கை]]யில் மிகவும் பெயர் பெற்ற ஒரு [[குகை]]யாகும். இக்குகை இலங்கையின் [[மத்திய மாகாணம், இலங்கை|மத்திய]] பகுதியில் [[கித்துல்கல]] நகரிலிருந்து 8 கி.மீ. தொலைவிலும், தலைநகர் [[கொழும்பு|கொழும்பில்]] இருந்து 80 கி.மீ. தொலைவிலும் அமைந்துள்ளது. இற்றைக்கு 12,000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முந்தி இலங்கையில் வாழ்ந்த மக்கள் தொடர்பான ஆதாரங்களை இக்குகை கொண்டுள்ளது. அக்காலப் பகுதியிலேயே இக்குகை [[பலாங்கொடை மனிதன்|பலாங்கொடை மனிதனாற்]] பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இங்கு ''பலாங்கொடை மனிதனின்'' பத்து எலும்புக்கூடுகள் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. கடல் மட்டத்திலிருந்து 2000 மீ உயரத்திலான அமைவிடங்களில் வாழ்ந்த மேற்படி மனிதர்கள் இங்கு 32,000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் வாழ்ந்ததாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.<ref>{{Cite web |url=http://www.srilankanexpeditions.com/location.php?city=Belilena+Caves#imgs |title=காப்பகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட நகல் |access-date=2011-10-14 |archive-date=2011-10-01 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20111001072502/http://www.srilankanexpeditions.com/location.php?city=Belilena+Caves#imgs |url-status=dead }}</ref>
