==வாழ்க்கை==
1994 ஆம் ஆண்டு இவர் ஸ்டான்போர்ட் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இளங்கலை பட்டம் பெற்றார். 1998ல் சிகாகோ சட்டக்கல்லூரியில் பட்டம் பெற்றார். 1998 முதல் 1999 வரை [[சான் பிரான்சிஸ்கோ]], [[கலிபோர்னியா]] போன்ற நீதிமன்றங்களில் பணியாற்றினார். 1999 முதல் 2001 வரை வடக்கு இல்லியான்ஸ் மாவட்டத்தில் சட்ட எழுத்தராக நீதிபதி ஜேம்ஸ் பி ஷிகல்வுடன் பணியாற்றினார். பின்னர் 2001ம் ஆண்டிற்குப்பிறகு அம் மாவட்ட அட்டார்னியானார். மற்றும் பொதுகுற்றவியலில் 2007 மற்றும் 2008 ம் ஆண்டிலும் சிறப்பு விசாரணைப்பகுதியில் 2011 முதல் 2012 வரையிலும் பணியாற்றினார்.

==பரிந்துரை==
நீதிபதி ஜோன் லெஃப்னொ பணி ஓய்வு அடைந்ததால் அந்த இடம் காலியாக இருந்தது. அவ்விடத்திற்கு செப்டம்பர் 19, 2013 அன்று இவரை ஜனாதிபதி ஒபாமா பரிந்துரை செய்தார்.
