104 விடைமீன் (104 விடை104) Tauri ( 104 Tau ) என்பது விடை விண்மீன் குழுவில் உள்ள ஒரு விண்மீனுக்கான பிளேசிட்டீடு பெயரீடாகும் . இது 4.92 தோற்றப் பொலிவுப் பருமை கொண்டுள்ளது, இது வெற்றுக் கண்ணால் பார்க்க போதுமான பொலிவுடன் உள்ளது. இடமாறு அளவீடுகளின் அடிப்படையில், இந்த விண்மீன் சூரியனில் இருந்து சுமார் 50 ஒளி ஆண்டுகள் தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது. இது +20 கிமீ/நொ.என்ற சூரிய மைய ஆர வேகத்துடன் சூரியனில் இருந்து வெளியே நகர்கிறது.

இது G4 வகை முதன்மை வரிசை விண்மீனாகும். இது அதன் நட்சத்திர மையத்தில் நீரக அணுக்கரு தொகுப்புவழி ஆற்றலை உருவாக்குகிறது. இது 10  பில்லியன் ஆண்டுகள் பழமையானது எனமதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. 10 கிமீ/நொ.என்ற திட்டமிடப்பட்ட சுழற்சி வேகத்துடன் சுழல்கிறது. சூரியனின் ஆரம் போல 1.6 மடங்கு கொண்ட இந்த விண்மீன் சூரியனை ஒத்தபொருண்மை கொண்டது. இது 5717 கெ. விளைவுறு வெப்பநிலையில் அதன் ஒளிக்கோளத்திலிருந்து சூரியனின் ஒளிர்வை விட 2.4 மடங்கு கதிர்வீச்சை வெளியிடுகிறது .

இந்த விண்மீனின் தோற்றப் பொலிவுப் பருமை இது ஒரு இளம் முதல் தலைமுறைவிண்மீன் என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது. இருப்பினும், அதன் வெளிப்புற வளிமண்டலத்தில் உள்ள வேதிமச் செறிவு வேறுபட்ட கதையைக் கூறுகின்றது.இது 12-13 பில்லியன் அகவையுடைய இரண்டாம் தலைமுறை விண்மீனாக இதைக் கணிக்கிறது இந்த முரண்பாடு விண்மீன்திரள் பெருக்கத்தின் தொடக்க காலத்திற்கு உட்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதைக் குறிக்கலாம். சாத்தியமான நோக்கீடுகள் இந்த விண்மீன் ஒரு நெருங்கிய துணையுடன் ஒன்றிணைந்துள்ளது அல்லது அருகிலுள்ள திறந்த பால்வெளிக் கொத்தான புபொப 2516 இன் முன்னோடி ஒண்முகிலுடன் தொடர்பு கொண்டது என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது.[1]

ஒரு அகச்சிவப்பு செறிவானதற்கான உறுதியான சான்றுகளை விண்மீன் காட்டுகிறது. இது இதன் சூழலில் சிதில வட்டுத் தூசி இருப்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது.[2]
